How to Apply

Carefully read the Frequently Asked Questions (in Chinese)

Download the application form

Fill in the form electronically carefully (in english exclusively). Produce email address and phone number where you can be contacted at any time during the selection process. Do not modify the shape of the form. Rank from 1 to maximum 3 PhD proposals you want to apply for.

Give imperatively the following file name to the document: yourname_yourfirstname_yourbirthdate (for the birthdate use the form: ddmmyy).

Be sure that your application is validated by your University

Get a copy of your transcripts (in english) from your University

Send by email exclusively, before October 15, 2023 the application form and the copy of your transcripts as attached documents to ling.gong@utt.fr and to the supervisors of the PhD proposals you apply for (their e-mail is indicated in the PhD proposal).

YOUR RANKING OF PhD PROPOSALS CANNOT BE MODIFIED AFTER RECEPTION OF YOUR APPLICATION FORM

IN PARTICULAR, THE APPLICATION FORM SENT TO LING GONG AND TO YOUR POSSIBLE SUPERVISORS MUST BE THE SAME FOR EVERY PhD PROPOSAL YOU APPLY FOR. IF WE RECEIVE DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE APPLICATION FORM, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CANCELED

You will be contacted shortly by the supervisor of every PhD proposal you apply for. He will contact you (by e-mail) to give you his interest in your application.

Additional documents could be required for the interview in China if your application is pre-selected.

Within the framework of their public interest, the information collected at the time of your application is the subject of a data-processing intended for the partners (China Scolarship Council and the UT-INSA network). This processing allows the organization to manage this PhD program. This information is kept for 5 years from the submission of your application and will be transmitted to the members of the admission committee and the postgraduate schools of the UT-INSA members. If you are selected, your name, first name, date of birth, gender and thesis subject will also be posted on the website www-csc.utt.fr.
